Black Pepper Sauce Ingredients
- 1/2 c chicken broth
- 1/4 c oyster sauce
- 1/4 c rice wine vinegar
- 1/2 tbsp minced (or pressed) garlic
- 1 tsp Don Juan Chiles Black Pepper
- 1 tsp Don Juan Chiles Ground Guajillo Chile
- 1/2 tsp Don Juan Chiles Ground Ginger
Black Pepper Chicken Ingredients
- 2 tbsp peanut oil
- 1 lb chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 medium yellow onion, sliced
- 3 celery stalks, sliced
- 1 tbsp Don Juan Chiles Garlic Powder
- 1/2 tbsp Don Juan Chiles Black Pepper
- 1/2 tbsp Don Juan Chiles Onion Powder
- 1 tsp Don Juan Chiles Ground Ginger
- 2 tbsp Don Juan Chiles Corn Starch
- 2 tbsp water
- 2 c white rice, cooked

- Using a large bowl, combine all ingredients needed for the sauce and whisk till properly mixed. Save the sauce for later.
- Season your chicken with garlic powder, black pepper, onion powder, and ground ginger.
- Turn the Instant Pot on to “Sauté” mode. Let the display say “Hot”. Add the olive oil and let it simmer.
- Now add the chicken and let it cook for 2 minutes.
- Add the chopped celery and onion and let it sauté for another 2 minutes.
- Add the sauce to the chicken and mix until combined.
- Turn off the sauté mode and put the lid on. Make sure the pressure valve is in the sealing position.
- Select the pressure cook mode and set the time for 5 minutes.
- When the pot beeps, let the pressure release naturally for another 5 minutes then do a quick release.
- While the chicken is cooking, mix the corn starch with water to make a slurry.
- Turn the sauté mode on and add the cornstarch slurry and simmer for a couple of minutes or until the sauce thickens.
