At Don Juan Chiles, we are primarily known for our extensive selection of dried chiles, which features favorites like Guajillo Chiles, Arbol Chiles, Chipotle Chiles, and more. While all chiles are sold in their dried form, they can be easily rehydrated in just 10-15 minutes.
As a family-owned business, we’re driven to help uphold family traditions and provide the physical and mental nourishment everyone needs. Nothing brings together people – especially families – like great hand-crafted food. That’s why we made it our mission to provide families, grocers, restaurants, and chefs with dried chiles, herbs, spices, and other authentic ingredients that can enhance meals and bring people together.
Don Juan Chiles was founded by two Mexican immigrants in 1991. Initially, Dinah and Rene Vizcarra Senior were just selling burritos made in their kitchen, but the flavors proved to be so popular that they kept expanding to eventually become the bulk distributor of dried chiles, herbs, spices, and more Don Juan Chiles is today.
