Marjoram provides a slightly minty, slightly sharp and somewhat bitter taste which accents all kinds of meat, fish and vegetable dishes. You might know it as ‘sausage’ seasoning but you can use marjoram to make your own poultry seasoning, Herbes de Provence or Italian seasoning blends. Call it a meal with homemade chicken noodle soup and homemade garden herb bread, both using this kitchen staple. Add marjoram toward the end of cooking for best flavor.
