Fennel Seed

Fennel seeds are grown from the flowering plant called fennel and they have a slightly sweet, licorice-like taste. Fennel seeds pair well with thyme, oregano, basil, cloves, and anise. They are a great addition to breads and curries, and taste great in seasoning rubs used on chicken, pork, or even fish.
